 Becoming Christ

Hi everybody. This lenten season also called as season of penance. In this lent, what are we going to do? One side we are going to do penance, charitable works , but in the same way , "WE ARE GOING TO BECOME CHRIST". I arise a question infront of catholicis. i.e; "  who is becoming Christ?".

 Usually people used to say, those who pray long time, doing penance etc... but including these things, we have to be with him by our words and deeds.

 For becoming Christ, we need to follow the footsteps of Mother Mary. Best example is, Mother Mary travels along with Jesus,   

1) When The Gabriel annonced the nativity to her . First she worried of this 'how is it posaible?'. Later, she accepted the will of God by giving birth to Christ, flying to Egypt to save Child Jesus etc.

2) when he carries cross.  She travelled to calvary along with Jesus. She had sufferred a lot by seeing the humilations done by people, eventhough she surrenders herself to the will of Heavenly Father.

In the same way, The holy Apostles and Saints lived in Christ and gave their life for christ respectively st. Lawrence,  st. Oscar Romeoro etc.  Christ doesn't call us to live like them , but like ,

1) st. Mother theresa, she lived in christ, lived as christ for people and made others to live in Chirst as, she says " I see Christ in him/her (pralytic man/woman & poor people)." 

2) st.  Theresa of child Jesus, she doesn't go out. Nothing she had done in her life such as helping poor, taking care of sick etc. But she offered her life for praying for the redemption of souls . 

  Now We, the catholics have to explore The Christ by our  lifestyle .we do not do like the saints ,But we can do something to wittness Christ such as;
